Burger King πŸ‘‘

I think lower class people still eat this kind of stuff. I think people in Bethesda and Mclean have moved fully over to fast casual like chipotle.

I like Burger King quite a lot, but there aren't that many in DC or close in. There are only 2 in all of DC proper, and only a handful inside the Beltway (mostly in VA).

It's not equivalent to McDonalds if just for that. If we had a Burger King nearby I would choose it over McDonalds 9 times out of 10.

I like Jason’s Deli

Sigh.

I mean, are people really eating Chipotle in the car on roadtrips? That's pretty much when I eat fast food. They also usually don't have Chipotle by the road in the middle of nowhere.

What a disappointment. I opened this thread thinking Burger King lady came back.

No. It has to be something that satisfies certain cravings like no other can. McDonald’s only for fries. Everything else is better somewhere else.

I've always like the frame-broiled taste of their burgers. But yes, unlike other chains, they haven't really reinvented themselves and are becoming less relevant. So many have closed in my area.

Sure. My first choice is some great random mom and pop place (which are more common than you might think), my second choice is something like chipotle. I haven’t had anything like bk of mcds in over a decade. The wordt thing I have had is chikvfila or popeyes, and that is very rare. And I have made a lot of road trips.

As a vegetarian, I appreciate the Impossible Whopper. I go there a few times a year.

I loved whoppers as a kid. I've had the impossible whopper a few times while on the road. It's not bad. I wouldn't go out of the way for it, but on a long road trip if we're going to do drive through, I definitely prefer it over some of the other options!

I still eat McD. In fact had it for lunch today. I've never liked BK. But DH does, especially their breakfast sandwiches. So I occasionally eat it. Still don't love it. But at least it has onion rings (which aren't the best, but better than the fries).

Whopper with cheese is the best drive through burger.

I love the crossandwich and get it 2-3 times per year. Way better than McDonald’s breakfast.

Of course people still eat at Burger King!

What do you think we do when we go β€œon a walk” after the inlaws close the kitchen during the holidays?
