DD hasn't done any interviews at all, virtual or otherwise. She's visited a few schools she's applied to, but that's it.
My impression is that interviews mean little to nothing, so we aren't pushing it. DD is a good, not great student if that matters, but she does interview well because she's chatty, funny and charming. Will that help her? |
DD is applying to Harvard RD. She used her REA for another, more realistic college. She has a .001 percent chance of acceptance RD at Harvard, but she insists on applying anyway. She has great stats, but so does everyone else who applies to Harvard. Will they even interview her? And why? Should she ask for an interview now, even though her application isn't due until January? She's going to turn it in next week, so will they contact her after it's in if they want to interview her? Whole process seems crazy. How can they interview all the applicants they are seriously considering? |
