If all the materials don't come in it's not complete. She specifically says "this is for submitted, not complete." She does not say anything more, like how many are currently incomplete, or how long they wait to see if all the materials come in before setting those applications aside. |
| Submitted would mean the common app and complete would mean the rest. It looks like they have a November 8 deadline for the transcripts and recommendations. |
Colleges will email for months asking you for missing stuff for both admissions and financial aid. |
Don’t be so dramatic. Those aren’t huge increases. Pitt more than doubled (increased by more than 100%!) |
Sorry, but applying to 20+ colleges is insane. |
| It’s a tiny flagship not sure why VA residents tolerate that. |
| *increase |
I like our system. Instead of one enormous, mega university, we have a bunch of large ones. I guess we could pull a North Carolina and call them all UVA with a city after them to make people realize that we have a lot of state universities here? |
That’s solely due to the fact that Pitt has rolling admissions. After last year everyone wants to have a lock on a school. |
| EDs will increase everywhere this year. That's good because it probably means fewer applications overall. |
Class size should increase, yes. |
I’m sure GMU would leap at the chance to be called UVA-Fairfax. |
| Probably will win NCAA men’s basketball tournament again. Total apps will clear 160,000 soon enough. |
| It’s the hot state school for NY and NJ. |
Not really. There are going to be more EA’s, too. They may eventually get withdrawn, but people are hedging their bets. |
