| I basically only ate bagels the last month of my pregnancy... I'm surprised I didn't just give birth to a bagel. |
| Enjoy! I had gestational diabetes. I only gained like 24 pounds with both pregnancies, but I also basically didn’t eat carbs after 28 weeks. You’re living the dream! |
Me too except I gave up the last day before my c-section and had a pizza dinner and didn’t check my blood sugar because I had to give up pretty much all carbs even including a lot of fruits and legumes. It was AWESOME. Go for it op!! |
| I can only eat 2 slices of pizza max, ever. I can eat all the garlic bread, however. |

Do it once no problem. Make it a habit and May not be the best choice.
The last 4 weeks of pregnancy are really meant for the baby to increase size. The baby needs some fat to be able to regulate their body temperature. The more carbs you eat the more the fat distribution on the baby will be shoulders and abdomen as opposed to equal distribution. This increases the risk of shoulder dystocia. 4 slices is equal to roughly 120g of carbs. Again, occasionally ok. Daily, please stop. From, Endocrine RN who sees GDM. |
| As long as you can keep it down, it’s all good! |
