we started loosely implemetning schedule right way. By lose I mean its all about reating babies ques and ressponding to their needs first and foremost, while paving the way for a scedule that works for your fmaily. This worked for us and our 4month old is doing great on a scehdle every since. we were influenced by the book called "Cherish the first 6 weeks"

Just let it go! I tried so f’ing hard to get my baby on a schedule and stressed about naps trying to follow all the popular sleep schedules online and my baby would fight every single one. I think it wasn’t until we sleep trained and dropped to 2 naps (on the early side) around 6 months that we fell into a predictable schedule, but really they are constantly shifting the whole first year so don’t stress it!

My child never seemed to have much of schedule until he went to preschool at age 3 1/2. With that said, of course I tried to create c[nsistency for him in the ways the would be beneficial. The difference for us is that I was often able to adjust my own schedule to his needs developmentally. Nowadays sanity on the part of parents is crucial. If you dont feel your child has established their own routine by 6 or 7 months, it's probably going to benefit the baby to have consistent patterns. Mind you, growth spurts, illness [ even a cold or gassines or teething] as well as potty training can throw this off!

Enjoy your little one, and don't be hard on yourself when what you're trying needs to be tweaked. Parenthood during a pandemic shouldn't feel like running a marathon. Some things are just different.

Schedule from two weeks on. Everyone slept better and are better.
