| I would put a few swatches of different whites on the wall so you can see how each looks at different times of day, and at night with artificial light. |

Thanks for the advice to paper all four walls. I was just going to do the one, but my husband said at least two. Now I'm hearing (and agreeing) with you all to do all four.
A couple more questions: Even if it's a small bathroom? It's kind of a wild print. (I'm not changing that though - I like it). How does a chair rail work in a bathroom? Paper on the bottom and then light green paint on top and on the ceiling? Thanks for the flooring suggestions. I was hoping not to have to tile, however. What else should I use? I was going to go for brushed/muted gold for the light and the mirror and faucets. (saw that in a picture w/this kind of wallpaper and it looked good). Thanks for your help. (again, I hate decorating, but dont have the $$ to hire help!) |
| White on bottom below chair rail, wallpaper on top half. How about slate-look porcelain tile? Large format and matching grout since you have a lot of look. Yes brushed gold tone fixtures |
Thank you. I will do this. I don’t know about the tiles though. My partner who is doing the hard work is wanting some sort of luxury fake wood thing. I don’t know what color though- with a walnut vanity, all that green, white, and then brushed gold accessories. Thanks again for your help, DCUM |
| At Sherwin Williams, they have brochures with all their white paint chips so that you can see all their whites side by side. Take the brochure home and you can compare all their whites and how they'll look in the room. |

Go to samplize and order a few colors. Tape them to the wall, don't stick, so you can move them around.
I love SW Alabaster. |
| BM Chantilly Lace is a very clean, pure white that is bright but not cold. We used it on all the trim in our house. |
| SW Alabaster is nice |

BM Wedding Veil is also a good clean white. We did a colorful wallpaper on the top half of all 4 walls of our powder room with a white subway tile wainscoting on bottom and it looks so sharp.
If your partner really wants to do luxury vinyl plank, you could do a stone look--many brands have a gray or slate color and it might look good with the other finishes you described. |

Thanks for the tip to get big samples from Samplize. I took the paper to BM and they gave me samples of the white that’s in the background, plus told me which of their whites are closest to that color- Wedding Veil is one of them! I ordered several from Samplize and so I should have some good whites to choose from in a few days.
Gray floors with white/green/walnut vanity? I’ll look for a gray stone look in vinyl. Thoughts on the small window in there- white wood blinds? Natural wood? Thanks again. |
