DC to NYC drive, what time to leave?

Yeah what is up with all of the “take the train” people every time driving to NYC is mentioned. Have you ever priced out the train for 4 people? It isn’t cheap and it takes longer than just driving.

Train isn't worth it if you have 2 or more people. Train only worth it for 1 person if you don't have to do metro or subway on either side for too long. I hate driving and Train is better for just me, but I book in advance so it isn't too $$
