Best Swag or Office Gift

I have six million corporate yeti bottles. Try to give something that if it isn’t used doesn’t contribute to waste.

I got a great umbrella once; it folds up really small (fits in a purse), but is great quality and opens to be quite large. I love it.

My H has gotten so much stuff from his company. We got a Yeti cooler which is super nice, and surprisingly the most used swag items are a couple of soft sherpa blankets (we fight over them often). Food baskets are tough because we're vegetarian and a lot of gift baskets contain meat items, which just get tossed in our house.

Agree with not doing logo items unless it's something nice. I used to eat up that 'free' stuff, but then I realized the majority was cheap and didn't last. If you're going to do a logo item, put it on something from a reputable brand (Yeti thermos, north face jacket, swell bottle, etc.) I have a north face jacket with a subtle company logo on it that I wear often.

I like the yeti idea - although it's nowhere near $250 for a rambler or mug. I got one from a client last week and it's much better than a cheap travel coffee mug.

$250 is tough because I don't want that much corporate stuff - I'd rather have a couple of items and then a gift card.

Can….can I just have the cash??

DH's company does some kind of high quality corporate branded item (like the Yeti mugs etc, an actual desirable item you might want), and they also have a website where you can pick a gift that's not corporate branded. We've gotten a couple of Nambe pieces through his promotions, I know one of his colleagues got a nice-ish home telescope.

I don't know the site, but I think it exists basically for this purpose. I imagine it to be something like the SkyMall catalogue with an assortment of over-priced things.

My company does stuff like pins and key chains with your years of service and name engraved. Don't do that.

You could donate those items rather than throw them away.

Go with the Goldbelly GC! Or the yeti ideas.

Definitely no cameo.

Gift cards to Amazon or restaurants.
I’m sometimes like to also give a bunch of small gifts instead of large present. I go to five below and dollar tree and find silly but fun stuff.
Alcohol is also a great option

Air pods Pro are a great gift. My friend did that near the end of 2019 and all of her direct reports love them.

^ Was coming here to suggest airpods - DH got them where the case had a light “branding” (initials of company) and they have been most useful swag ever.

Don’t brand anything! Jesus, why do companies do this? If you’re giving a gift, give a gift, not advertising.

$250 Amazon or other gift card. We have so much corporate stuff from my spouses employer. Its great and many good items but it doesn't scream promotion. Cash is best.
