“ That update, which was published at 11 a.m., said the illness has affected both students and staff as well as people living both on- and off-campus.

“At this time, we have not identified a common food source among impacted individuals,” the school said in the Friday morning update.”

You are making a statement that you have no proof of.

Norovirus is spreading through GU because the place is filthy. Here’s another fact. The infrastructure is crumbling, undergraduates are acting out at more than at their usual alarming rates and Georgetown is not well endowed financially.

I would never send my kids to GU.

Um…

Pot, meet kettle.

Ummmm…what does that mean?

Perhaps not surprising that you don't know what that means.

At any rate, see bolded above.

Kids are getting from hanging out with each other. There have been packs of drunk kids roaming our block tonight. It’s not normally like this!

It was back when. Every Thursday through Sunday afternoon.

The only time I'm ever reminded of Georgetown is due to news stories like this - rat infestations, mold, cockroaches, flooded dorms... man. It really escapes me how this school is somehow still able to cling onto whatever reputation it has.

This. I have been to campus for professional reasons. I am really allergic to molds. I had a horrible coughing fit, ran into a bathroom that turned out to be a janitors closet that was disgusting. I ran out and ducked into a bathroom that had no working toilets. I have been to a lot of college campuses and it actually was the grossest I have ever been to.

That is what people pay $75k per year in tuition for? What a dump.

That’s what I was thinking.

As long as DC is an economic engine, Georgetown will be coveted by a certain type of kid.

Gtown is such a huge feeder into the whole dc scene — hill, admin, top tier agencies, national security state, etc

Yes, but it is normally like this at EVERY. SCHOOL. IN. AMERICA.

Especially after being holed up for 18 months.

There is also an Insta for most other schools similar to the one posted above.

Could not pay me to live next to a college.

Good to know that your kids will never be at that school.

A.) I don't think students attend GU for the "infrastructure".

B.) If you read credible sources, you would not have to resort to this troll post.

Georgetown booster is aggressively defensive because they can’t admit they’re school is literally gross and disgusting. What other IG accounts for other schools exist like georgetown.hotmess, like you say?
