I don't get it. why would you pay $60 for this basic chair? My $9.99 chair from Walmart has lasted 3 year with no problems and looks the same. Only unless you want a higher weight limit?

because they are actually comfortable? I am tall and hate the cheap chairs because I sit awkardly and my back hurts. But you do you.

Get a big golf umbrella. Then be courteous enough to move or stand behind the row of parents sitting on the sideline. Drives me crazy when newbies pull their chairs 2 feet from the sideline, then make it worse by obstructing the view for everyone else.

They are sturdier and wider. I like to swing my legs over the arms or sit cross legged and can in this chair.

Folding camp chairs (we replaced them every couple of years), separate (not "team bench" style), a cooler, outdoor picnic style blankets that can be used as throws if it's cold and seats on the grass if warm. Only the really hard core families had canopies, usually if there was a canopy it was for the team to sit under on hot days.

Rubber mallet and a beach umbrella. Pound the stake in. You'll be good to go.
