Is everyone paying full price for Canada Goose? Are there sales?

Do you ski a lot or go to Vermont or Wisconsin in January? It's really not necessary in our climate.

I’ve gone back and forth on CG since I worked in nyc for half time for years. If I lived up there full time I probably would do it. But dc only gets that cold to need it a few days a winter.

That being said, what is a stylish but functional brand? North face style kind of lost me by 2000. Even their kids clothes are lame now.

If you run cold and take care of your things then they are worth it. I have a medical condition that leads to me feeling freezing all the time. I’ve had my CG for 10 years and it allows me to be outside during the winter without losing my fingers, so it’s worth every penny. For the average person who can handle colder temps, it’s probably not worth the price tag.

I just buy no-brand puffer coats on Amazon. Polyfill is just fine for our climate. You certainly don’t need down.

From all these posts you'd think Canada Goose was super expensive. It's just a normal priced jacket folks

Yeah, don't google Moncler jackets, and I see them everywhere in DC. Anyway, Uniqlo jackets are only $100 or so and incredibly warm.

Ok
Google what it is filled with and buy a similar one much cheaper
Even better: invest in a vest

Can I make a suggestion to get this instead. Less obnoxious labels, equally warm, and people who know, know.

I like Woolrich. Also Mackage, which is Canadian, and almost as expensive as CG, but not slathered with logos.

PP who’s always freezing and has a 10+ year old CG here. Thank you! This coat is just what I need when I replace my CG. Form and function, but without the logos.

A $1000 is normal price to you?
