Dating aops other than Hinge, Tinder and Bumble?

Feeld is mostly for couples looking for a third, at least from what I’ve heard from friends (basically they were telling me not to waste my time on it). I wouldn’t think there would be many people on it looking for a monogamous longterm relationship, but I haven’t been on it myself yet, so could definitely be wrong!

There is a dating app called “Tastebuds”?!

This makes me want to reconsider divorce.

Does the Feeld app actually work for anyone? It stopped working for me about a year ago and is permanently broken.

I tried The League and it was terrible - almost no one in D.C., and they weren't impressive. If I had the flexibility to date anyone in the U.S., it may have been a bit better.

That app matches tastes in music.

Feeld works, but isn't fruitful for me.

OKCupid is.

I tried Bantr. It is aimed at matching people who are truly compatible, so no pictures. I was matched with someone fantastic - really mature, interesting and literary (he quoted Rilke and it was in context.) Turned out to be a young man who works for me! SO embarrassing to show up at the bar and realize this. Since he's only 21 and I'm in my mid-late 40s, I felt like a total pedo - like I had been grooming him! We decided to have dinner anyway and he was utterly charming. Nothing other than a goodnight kiss happened that night...

Does it just say "fictional dating app Bantr"?

I know this story is just made up, and I don't know why you thought it would be cute for you to do this instead of just answering my question, but... I think this app would lead to a lot of problems. I'm sure it would be fine for people who are super attractive, but it's not going to work when people realize their date isn't the hottie they imagined.

You’re busted… That’s a current storyline from this season’s Ted Lasso on Apple TV.
