Need contact lens optometrist experienced in high myopia + astigmatism

If you have high myopia and astigmatism and have been fitted with contacts successfully, please recommend your optometrist. A cost estimate would be great, too. TIA!

I have the trifecta of bad eyes: horrible myopia (power 9), astigmatism, and a prism in one eye. You don't say where you're located but I've had good contact lens success with the docs at Bethesda Vision Care.

Dr.teller at Eye Doctors of Washington. He's awesome and got me into soft lens after nearly twenty years of gas permeable lenses for my terrible eyes (I sound like you- neg 6.5 and astigmatism). A years worth of lens was 300. Initial consult I think 90 for the contacts on top of the office visit (insurance picked up that part). Plus 20 for the co pay on the office visit.
