hi everyone,
I am thinking of making mini cupcakes for my kid's school. I was going to use a regular cupcake recipe - do I have to cook them for lesser time or at a lower temprature than if I was making regular cupcakes? thank you! |
| same temperature, but i'm assuming less time. |
| PP is right, same temperature, but less time. |
| I recommend that you watch them very carefully. As soon as the tops are the faintest golden/brown color and indent a bit when touched, remove from oven. My experience is that they get dry very easily. |
| Just a warning - some schools discourage homemade goodies since they have no way of know the condition of your kitchen(pets, germs) or any allergens that may have contaminated them(nuts, etc.). Maybe check with the teacher? DC's teachers have always welcomed healthier homemade treats and ignored the rules. |

Sometimes the recipe needs to be changed, and the baking time needs to be adjusted.
If you're making it from a box, they usually have a section about mini muffins. |
