Looking for an affordable eye doctor in DC

Hi,

Since I am a visitor in DC, I couldn't get my son an insurance for check ups etc... I took him here to a general check up and the doctors said he might have strabismus ( lazy eye). I know that healthcare is very expensive but i was wondering if anyone can recommend an eye doctor that is not very expensive. Thank u

I recently had my eyes examined by Dr. Elbash (I think his practice is called Premier Eye Care). He has offices in Alexandria and Herndon, not DC, but I was impressed with the quality of his care, and I've heard that he works with patients with no insurance (discounted rates, etc.).
