Babysitting exchange?

Hi, Moms!

We're new to Bethesda (Brookmont neighborhood: 20816). We used to have babysitting exchanges all the time when we lived in Old Town in Alexandria, but now that we're in Bethesda, most of the families in our neighborhood have older kids ... we'd love to find someone who'd be interested in doing an exchange. We have two girls (11-years-old and 4-years-old) ... my kids are easy and well-behaved (11-year-old is a great helper, too). They're old enough where they do their own thing (play Wii, read books, crafts, play in the yard), so if you've got an infant or toddler, you wouldn't be overwhelmed with my kids. If your kids are older, they'd love playing together during our exchanges.

What do you think? Want to meet up with our kids and talk about it? If so, please reply with contact info. and I'll respond immediately.

You might have better luck if you set up an account on DCUM, then people could send you a private message, vs. putting their contact information on the board.
