| The saddest part is that it sounds like it went on for a while before the kids told their parents. My daughter once had a teacher who was emotionally abusive and my DD was the only one who told. No one believed me until the teacher's assistant finally came forward. Kids tend to stay quiet about these things. |

| It doesn't pay to get sick after every news article you read. I reserve this for when true facts emerge. Newspapers and their journalists and editors unfortunatley can't be trusted in this day and age. |

| I reserve judgement on this one. It sounds like the only witnesses are kids. It started when one kid reported it and then more kids stepped up after police interviews. The WPost article said there were no marks on the kids. This is a 7th year teacher. Maybe there is more evidence that I haven't heard. And I am not saying that she is innocent. I am saying that I want to wait until the evidence comes out in court under oath. The media is good at putting out fear stories, but not good with facts IMHO. |

| The media may not be great with info, but there apparently was sufficient probable cause to charge her. Her personal life is beyond a mess, according to court records, so it wouldn't surprise me if she was losing control during class. |
