Please help me -I just moved to North Arlington and used to live in Bethesda. I need someone that can deal with naturally curly hair (and a good colorist for that matter!)
thanks in advance! |
Yorda at PR oartners in Shirlington. she is great with curly hair and color.
PR Partners
Tiffani Dwyer at Eclips in Mclean. She is also an amazing colorist.
Not OP, but how are the prices at PR and Eclipse?
haircut at eclipse is around $65, initial coloring is $139 and subsequent coloring is $89.
Anastasia at Dessange Tysons (www.dessangetysons.com) is the best for curly hair. She also does color. I've tried all the expensive salons in the area and never had better looking color.
Pr partners. Yorda charges $65 but if you pre- book it's $60. I use to go to Elizabeth Arden, and tried several places over the years. I am very particular about my curly hair And color. I get compliments all the time.

I have gone to Yorda 3 times over a 3 year span. Each time I am really hoping to like my cut (I live very close to PR in Shirlington) but each time I really don't like it. My hair is medium length to long and I always feel like she takes too much and cuts the front really short so it does not even fall with the back (a very choppy look).
Anyway I do really like Beth at Fiddleheads in DC so I will be making the time to go into the city for my next cut! |
Love Dan (female) at Silk Salon in Courthouse. I have wavy hair and she gave me a cut that is so easy to style and looks great straight and wavy.
