Travel to orlando during sprint break

We are planning to travel to Orlando, FL during spring break. The airlines prices are currently look so exorbitant. Have not traveled during the spring break in the past. Are these normal during spring break, current lowest price from baltimore is 400+ while from IAD 475+ per person. Do you think it is better to wait for sometime? Any idea prices will go down or will go up ?

I think you missed out on the window of opportunity. I doubt prices will come down. When I first started to plan, which was back in Sept, the rates were about $220 RT. By Nov. when I bought, I think I paid about $275 and it's gone steadily up since.

check kayak. it will help you judge when and if prices will go down. would guess you are too late.

If you are planning to rent a car, fly into Tampa instead.

The prices are going to go up, not down because of the price of fuel. Delta is about to increase fares again. We bought for orlando in late December, and paid in the $400+ RT range from BWI.

Depending on how many tickets you'd need to buy you might want to consider driving down, split it up and stay half way in a hotel each way.
