Pancake Mountain: Indie Rock + Sock Puppets = Awesome

I'm not sure how many DC Urban Moms are into indie rock, but for the few of us the live in Mount Pleasant (or at least used to) and have kids...this is something worth checking out. Pancake Mountain is a kids show (sort of) with D.C. roots that's dedicated to poking fun at your conventional children's television programming while teaching kids real life lessons and a whole lot about cool music.

To date, it's been a mostly underground phenomenon that's lived life online and on DVD, but they're looking to bring their show to the masses.
