My metaphorical panties are so hopelessly in a bunch...VENT

they may never see the gray light of day again. I am sick of snow fog/ice. What are we down to now? Like 3 hours of actual daylight? How many pairs of gloves, socks, hats, mittens, boots, lunch boxes, permission forms, application fees, pads, cleats, Camel Backs™, flash drives, badges and assorted detritus can I be expected to sort out before running naked screaming into the street?

I feel you, OP. I'm so worried we're going to lose power again tonight I feel like I have PTSD.

February is the worst, but it gets better from here! Seriously, just a few more minutes of daylight at the end of each day, and we'll soon be to the spring equinox.

You have to unclench. Otherwise you are going to get chafed when you have to shovel again.

Buck up, people!

I lived in Scotland when little, where the winter sun sets at 3pm. One year, my mother, desperate like you, counted the days in January when she saw sunshine.

There were none!

I can do you better. I grew up in England. One year (365 days, people) we saw the sun 32 days out of the entire year.

Hey I can do better! I lived in Seattle for 8 years. We could Mt. Rainier maybe 30 times a year max. It's pretty disconcerting to all of a sudden look up and see the mountain. Aso, the house we lived in had a territorial view of the Sound. I think we lived there for 3 years before we spotted it.
