| When you have an anovulatory cycle, but you have a light period (I think it's called estrogen withdrawal bleeding), does the uterine lining get completely shed? Just wondering because if it is not completely shed, what happens if you then ovulate with "old" lining still in place? Does this hinder possible implantation when you do ovulate? |
| It is just called anovulatory bleeding. Taking Charge of Your Fertility doesn't mention any reason this would affect future TTC efforts. Since your body knows that there wasn't an egg released it knows that there is no chance of it being implanted, so the lining stays in place. |
