Number of spots at CCES gifted and talented

How many kids are accepted for the 4th grade G&T program at Chevy Chase Elementary? Does anybody know how many kids usually apply?

There are 50 seats available In 4 TH grade. Not sure how many applied this year.

OP here, thanks for info. Follow up question: are there also 50 spots at all 4/5 grade HG centers?

Are kids at CCES any more or less likely to be admitted to the HGC? I would think in theory not, but I was curious if that's true in practice.

There are 75 spots in the PineCrest/Oakview Centers -- it's one center but they added a classroom at Oakview.

IMO, kids are no more likely to be admitted from CCES than other schools. I don't think there's an official quota from each school, but I got the impression that the admissions process is managed in such a way that all elem. schools from the clusters that matriculate to the CCES HGC have at least a couple/few kids admitted.
