hawaiian pizza

is it good? Never had it but see it on the menu all the time. Is the pinapple just super mushy and gross?

I love it! pineapple is good.

Love it! But I grew up on the west coast, where I think it's a little more common. Out there, it's also more often canadian bacon/pineapple, which I prefer over ham/pineapple. A small distinction, but I'm picky. Pepperoni/pineapple is also delightful. Go for it OP -- give it a try!

The idea of it doesn't appeal, but the few times I've taken a bite of it the flavor combination was good. I still haven't become a convert, however.

It's good. The pineapple mixes well with the tomato sauce.

Pineapple on pizza is great. It is not mushy and really has great taste. I am not a fan of ham, so I usually pass on the ham and just have pineapple. Try it...you won't be disappointed.

No, it's not mushy, OP. The pineapple gets broiled and it dries out so it has a great texture -- kind of chewy, like green pepper. It's the contrast between the sweetness of the pineapple and the salty canadian bacon/ham that is delicious. I like to add onions and green olives as well.

It's my favorite pizza, we get it all the time. Vocelli's makes a really good one, where they put canadian bacon AND real bacon on it in addition to the pineapple and the cheese. Yum! I just had a "sensible" dinner, but you made my mouth water!

love it. like a PP said, it's more of a West Coast thing (where I also grew up). It's def. my favorite.
