Who are you mid-thirties with a manse in Georgetown?

Eh, money doesn't buy happiness. I know it's trite, but there will ALWAYS be someone out there with a bigger house, more money, and more stuff than you. I don't care how rich you get, there's always someone richer. Might as well not waste time being jealous of what you don't have and start focusing on making your life great (through appreciation, hard work, whatever it takes to make you happy!).

| We bought ours in our mid-thirties, without family money. It needed work, so we got it cheap. We also had a good down-payment ready from having made a huge profit on the house we sold. |
