Purportedly Moore’s main accuser Leigh Corfman has had three divorces, filed for bankruptcy three times, and has been charged with multiple misdemeanors.

Posts on Moore's FB page indicate that Corfman, has claimed several pastors at various churches made sexual advances at her.

Moore is coming after his victim now. Just like she always feared.

Well, if this report is accurate, her credibility is questionable: claiming that several pastors have made sexual advances at her, three divorces, multiple misdemeanors? Not exactly the sort of person whose statements can be taken without some skepticism.

Exactly. And it seems those making the claims? Their own social media is hanging them

Three divorces - sounds like your dear leader.

All you people who are questioning the timing—seems like you want to prevent Alabamans from hearing about Roy Moore before they send him to the senate for 6 years. You make everything sound like a conspiracy but basically you want to keep Alabama residents from hearing any negative news.

The WaPo’s endorsement of the opposition can before the story. And they drum up an activist at random?

Link or it didn't happen.

Google is your friend. That little fact is no secret, nor surprise, given WaPo's bias.

Liar.

The Washington Post does not do endorsements for non-local state elections. It only gives endorsements for Virginia, Maryland, and DC, as well as presidential elections.

Since when do multiple divorces and problems with the law make someone not trustworthy?

30 sources versus Roy Moore. I’ll go with the 30.

I am sure you will but Alabama voters will not ....... and it is their opinion that matters.

For the millionth time: even on the day of these revelations, no one doubted that Alabamans would still vote for Moore if they had the chance. The Dem has no shot at this. No one thinks he does. This seriously undercuts any claim that the claims of Moore being a sexual predator toward teenagers is some conspiracy to get a Democrat elected.

It is the Republicans who want him off the ballot. Because they would like someone who isn't tainted with these credible accusations representing their state. I'd also like him off the ballot because he seems like a f*cking lunatic on top of being a horrible person - but if anything, him winning helps Democrats. It makes the Republicans party even more divided, it makes you all seem even more like lunatics who can't be taken seriously - and it totally undermines any attempts to effect whatever agenda those in charge think they've got a shot at. Don't you see that?

It is the establishment Republicans who want him off the ballot because they hate Bannon. The likes of McCain, McConnell, Romney, etc. But they all play it safe by saying that IF the reports are true then he needs to withdraw.

You guys can post another 100 pages of this crap about Moore being a pedophile, etc but it makes no difference because the voters in Alabama are the ones who will decide and they don't give a rat's ass what liberals in the DMV think or what the likes of McConnell think because for them McConnell's opinion is just about as inconsequential as that of Schumer or Hillary.

When will you guys get this through your thick skulls? They don't care what you think because you are the sort of people they have utter contempt for - perhaps they are more contemptuous of you and your ilk than you are of them.

Hits the nail on the head. They don’t care if Moore diddled the Virgin Mary when she was 10.

Moore pals around with neo-confederates. He is a homophobe. He is an Islamophobe. He accepts donations. from Nazi sympathizers. He steals money from charities. He refuses to follow court orders or the rule of law (stare decisis). And yet he was leading his Democratic opponent, who by all accounts is an honorable man, by double digits. So why should a little child molestation change this?

It should be pointed out, however, that Moore has always been an exception to the rule in Alabama politics. He only won his last election by three points, with 51% of the vote. His notiriety has always resulted in underperforming on Election Day.

Don't care about the divorces. It's the multiple accusations of sexual harassment that make her untrustworthy in my eyes. She's either truly beautiful or somewhat delusional. Add to that several misdemeanors (what for?) and my hinky meter is pegged.

This a million times over. None of this is news to those who voted for him, and it's not going to change his support one iota. They probably think they are sticking it to everyone else. I don't understand why liberal heads are exploding.

I'm a dem loving this Moore shit. Either he loses to a Dem or gets elected and makes the Rs have another Todd Adkin moment. Either way, he's sinking the part further...they will tank in 2018.

Oh man, you think they want him off because they hate *Bannon*? You are so far into that guy's a** you don't even know it's dark in there.

Can’t you get it through your thick skull that it does matter to national politics too and that 100 pages of posting shows intense interest in this topic? No matter how contemptuous you are of people in DC?

Are you drunk or daft? Weinstein? Spacey? Hoffman?

Exactly - which makes it easy for someone who doesn’t want him elected to make accusations at this time.
Color me very skeptical.

So you'll give a pedophile the benefit of the doubt? No wonder they feel like they'll "get away with it." YOU allow it.

And, you will condemn before you have any proof? Two words... Tawana Brawley

How predictable. How long before you slut-shame the 14 year old?

I'm inclined to believe the charge, but proof is needed too.

If true, there were probably more, who will gather courage to speak up -- as they did with Weinstein, Spacey, etc.

Other than onterviews with the victims and others who corroburate their stories from decades earlier, what do you propose?

More women with similar or worse stories coming forward as a result of this article, with as careful reporting and investigation as is found in this article

That's ridiculous--there's already quotes from 3 women, their friends and some of their mothers. This is a very carefully reported article. For you to imply that their stories mean nothing because 20 women haven't come forward is the height of stupidity. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if more women come forward with similar stories.

If Moore thinks this made up why hasn't he gotten lawyers to sue for libel?
