I will not be swimming anywhere near Trump or Vance.

Chill bro. No one’s coming for your marriage. Geez.

You probably had the same glib attitude about roe v. wade, yeah?

No. That’s murder. It should be illegal. Marriage isn’t hurting anyone.

Abortion is healthcare. Period!

Not sure the baby sees it that way

A clump of fetal cells isn't a baby. An egg isn't a chicken.

Most citizens of the world would disagree with you.

NP here. Then the rest of the world is wrong and not knowledgeable about science. I'm a geneticist and if the fetus is not viable outside the womb, then it's not a baby. And by viable, I mean truly able to live at a ~100% functionality. Which isn't until before 24 weeks, and even that's pushing the current limits of modern medicine. I had a preemie baby myself, born at 32 weeks, and he spent a long time in the NICU and had a global developmental delay that has led to lifelong issues. This has seriously impacted every aspect of our family life, and put incredible pressure on my marriage. When parents have a child with SN, their odds of divorce increase dramatically. There's so much stress and second-guessing, and financial unknowns about long-term care. It stresses the other, healthy, children of the marriage as well, and decreases the chances that younger siblings can be born.

But people who don't live this problem don't know how terrible that burden is. It's MUCH better for human health and well-being that fetuses with problems be aborted safely as soon as problems are identified. That way, women don't jeopardize their health and finances, and can go on to have healthy pregnancies in better physical, psychological and financial shape. If you want women to have more kids, you NEED abortion.

Where do you stand on babies who suffer life long problems as a result of birth or doctor mistakes? Is monetary compensation enough in the latter case? Should we give mothers 10-50 days to decide how burdensome those children are? How about children and dependent adults who have debilitating conditions (eg, stroke, coma > 1 year, etc.).

What do you mean? Trump is very middle. You're just in denial.

Republicans- turn on MSNBC for hilarious coping. It’s glorious.

I for one do not blame the Democrats. I blame Americans. Plenty of former Trump staff/officials and Rs have come out against him. The voting public doesn't care.

Yes.

I mean yes, generally it’s the “voting public” that determines an election result…

Except when the electoral college does

Female candidate!

Women hate women.

No women hate stupid women who are unqualified to be president.

Funny, how they are all unqualified. Yet, we've elected men who are movie/reality stars.

Are you?

Maybe if she did some more interviews?

Also maybe if she focused on her message rather than spend the last month of her campaign simply attacking Trump????
Anonymous
Dems sticking with Biden well past his expiration date, then going with Harris with no open process, then courting republicans with a blah moderate platform proving to not be a winning strategy.

Well if Harris cant even pull VA its a problem

Everyone needs to remember we are still ahead. We have OR, WA, and CA.

This isn’t hacking or anything like that. We need to come to terms with the fact that half this country are bigots and that is driving their every decision. They are blinded by their hatred and fear of women, minorities, gay, trans, nonbinary and anything else that isn’t a white (Christian) man.

Everyone knows he had no policies, he’s been found liable of rape and an a myriad of frauds. The guy was impeached twice in 4 years for good reason. No one was better off in 2029 than they are now. The markets are up and the economy is healthier. I paid under $3 for gas this week.

Yet, they voted for him again - he has successfully harnessed people’s hatred of “others” plain and simple.

It is not a surprise to those of us who are not in the DCUM bubble.

Eggs are chickens where you're from? No, they're not. Stupid arguments may be universal, but anyone with a brain can differentiate.

Sorry you didn't have access to an adequate education.

Ask a woman who has had a miscarriage if she's sad because she lost the potential of a baby, as opposed to an actual baby.

You insensitive trashheap, you're talking at a woman who's had a few. Y'all always think you know...

If the "baby" had been a viable life, it would've lived. It wasn't. It died in utero and couldn't have fared any better outside the womb because it wasn't a fully-formed human. It was a dysfunctional clump of cells. My sadness at the loss of a potential life doesn't magically change the science.

When you provide universal maternity care that would've spare my family the bills we faced along with our grief, I'll believe that you actually see fetal tissue as a human baby. Until then, you're all mouth and no legs.

This is why Trump is winning.
Signed, a woman who voted for Kamala as the lesser of two evils but does not view an embryo as a clump of cells and knows about a zillion conservative women who feel the same way.

Again, I'm sorry you're stupid/ignorant/ill-informed. I do believe you'll learn, at some point. Probably when your daughter needs a medically-necessary abortion to save her life and she dies instead because of your wack non-logic.
