Good OBYGN around bethesda/rockville?

I graduated from college in May and moved back to the DC area. I am in desperate need to see an obgyn as I'm having very irregular bleeding (2 periods a month) that's affecting everything I do. I tried to make an appointment with two different CWC offices (one across from WJ and the other across from Shady Grove), but the office staff honestly were so rude that I don't even want to try them. I was on hold for 10 minutes before one office eventually hung up and the other office told me to give a call back twice. Any advice??

Midwifery Care Associates or if you prefer a doc then definitely Dr. Anne Shrout at Simmonds and Simmonds. They are actually in the same location.

Are you using insurance or are you willing to pay out of pocket and file yourself and get what you can?

I have BCBS and would prefer not to pay out of pocket.

Dr. James Powers in Chevy Chase is awesome! He's one of Washingtonians top docs. Spends a lot of time with his patients and really listens. But he doesn't take insurance so you have to submit that on your own.

I am so happy that my doc
Moved out to Rockville. Dr. Prikoupenko is great he is very smart and caring. His office personal is also very helpful and friendly. I am a doctor myself, I send patients to him; I have even sent family members to him. Good luck in your search; feel better soon.

I also love Yuri Prikoupenko. He used to work at Georgetown and I followed him when he started his new practice. And don't worry about pronouncing his last name, he just goes by Dr. Yuri. http://www.doctoryuri.com/

Dr. Lori Kaler in the Wildwood Medical Building (across OGR from WJ). I can't say enough about her practice. She's solo and her very small staff is fantastic. She takes BCBS.

Dr. Alisa Studley or Dr. Nadine Flaharty. There actually both physicians assistants but are absolutely great. They work out of Women's health specialist. On Executive BLV off Old Georgetown rd. I'm pretty sure I'm your age (I graduate from undergrad last May). I actually got both of their names in the Washingtonian 2010 edition of 100 best doctors, both of these women are so easy to talk to, very thorough and they do a ton of stuff online so you don't have to file out paper work. There billing department is also great. I have Anthem (BCBS) and I didn't pay a dime for my IUD. I seriously recommend them.
