I had an awesome visit to southern Utah a few years' back and want to go somewhere this winter (with toddler) where we can walk and enjoy the beautiful west.
Any recommendations?
I haven't been anywere but Utah and western Colorado.

TIA.

Wherever you decide, if you are going in the winter, check to see if they are open. About six years ago, we took a trip out west (flew into NM and drove) and about half of the places we planned to stop were closed or were closing within a week of our trip. It took me by surprise as I figured the parks to be open all year round.

We are going to Sonoma in Az this spring, but not sure it will be warm enough for you in winter.

I've been to 2 places that are amazing for hiking and amazing scenery:

1. Jackson Hole, WY
2. Sedona, AZ

I'd go to Pheonix, Flagstaff, Jerome and Sedona, AZ, with maybe a side trip to Vegas.

Southern Arizona is great this time of year. There is a wonderful "Desert Museum" in Tucson.
