Restaurant near the Avalon?

Can anyone recommend a nice restaurant near the Avalon movie theater on CT Ave?

Nothing really fancy up here in CC, but OK--Parthenon for Greek, Arucola for Italian. There's a Chinese restaurant, too, that gets OK reviews. Bread and Chocolate and the Avalon for cafe-style, as well as a Starbucks.

If you go a bit further down (across from Politics and Prose), Terasol has been getting good neighborhood reviews.

I would love a solid, well-priced, neighborhood restaurant to take the place of the Mexican one that closed across the street.

I second the recommendation for Arucola -- very good casual Italian. Best to make a reservation because it gets crowded.
