Because of my bicornurate uterus, I prematurely ruptured at 25 weeks and gave birth to a 29 weeker with a number of special needs. As I contemplate future family planning, I'm eager to hear stories from other women who suffered either of these circumstances and went on to have more successful pregnancies the second time around. My doctors are very bullish on me trying again because they feel like my uterus has "proved" it can get to at least 29 weeks so I'm very likely to get there or further next time. I'm less confident about this - very skittish, given the outcome the first time around -- so if it happened to be true for you or anyone you know, I'm dying to know that!
Thanks. |
