For the top percentile, the economy is booming. Everyone else is screwed.

So much winning

This and Microsoft layoffs are due to AI, which both parties are not going to reign in. Half of the population is going to be unemployed in 10-20 years and we’re going to all die from rogue AI after that. Enjoy human life while we still have it and don’t spend too much time getting bogged down rooting for politicians who won’t do anything to slow this tragic outcome. Goodnight.

And this is due to AI too, which is decimating entry level jobs for college grads. But keep on making fun of parents who don’t want to saddle their kids with debt only to leave college with no job prospects because of AI while electricians and plumbers are getting harder and harder to come by and can charge premium prices.

Kamala Harris wasn’t going to slow this train down and neither is Trump. It’s going to get very dark for college grads very quick.

So MAGAs new line is that the economy sucks because of AI?

When was PP MAGA? Are you denying that there is going to be incredible job losses and economic suffering because entry level jobs like analysts, assistants, etc. are going to be taken over by AI programs? It’s already happening. How else do you explain Microsoft’s mass layoffs when their market cap is $3.81 trillion?

There were smart Democrat politicians who warned about this in 2020. You all chose the sun setting old white guy instead. He didn’t stop this. Trump won’t stop this. Politicians don’t care about it because corporate profits will skyrocket with AI. All of us humans are collateral damage. No one is going to help you.

All of you status seekers are going to feel the pain while carpenters, cops, electricians, firefighters, nurses and plumbers keep making money and living their lives. AI doesn’t care about your T20 degree, or who you voted for. If you choose a job that isn’t hands on you’re going to be expendable.

Young people can pivot. If this is the beginning of a trend, we’ll see young people make different career choices.

And guesss what happens when a mass of them pivot to the jobs you’ve listed? Those wages will go down if there is a glut of supply.

You think AI can replace psychiatrists and psychologists? I don’t.

It isn't all about AI. Trump has created significant economic uncertainty that impacts the fortune 1000 companies, the large consulting firms and tech innovation. So the key areas that hire college grads are in stasis mode.

The stock market rewards the bottom line. This is the way it has always been.

Yep. AI is part of the problem but Trump’s chaos is part of it too. Firms are holding off on hiring.

Another day, another great report as Q2 GDP came in at 3%, above the 2.5% prediction. More winning!
