How are the roads in Northern VA

Primarily i-66 in the Tysons to Arlington area.

Our driveway and neighborhood are a sheet of ice (no way school buses are getting around). Side roads are passable, but slick. Main roads and highways are wet but fine. Road spray is bad on the beltway. I drove from Fairfax to Old Town Alex using 123, 66, 495, Rt 1.

Ditto the pp. neighborhoods suck. Main roads fine.

Yep..my husband went in and the neighborhood roads are icerinks. He had to go on the grass even with those special shoe attachments for ice. He said main roads are better.

I almost slipped this morning. Our complex looked like a skating rink. Our side roads were fine, and so was everything else. From Manassas to DC.
