Not that it's really anyone's business, but I wonder why they used a surrogate.

Yes, but many women carry donor egg pregnancies into their late 40s and even early 50s, so there shouldn't be a strictly age-related reason why she couldn't carry herself.

Didn't she have a bunch of miscarriages when she was married to the Robot (TC)? Maybe there was some reason why they told her (or she felt that) she should not try to carry again. My mom had 30% success rate on a live birth (she had many miscarriages, a seriously premature birth that resulted in death within 5 hours, and a stillbirth), yet she kept trying and trying since there was no other option then. Maybe Nicole felt she couldn't handle it if she lost the baby.

It was rumored that Nicole's sister carried Sunday Rose. I'm glad for Nicole and Keith. It doesn't matter how the baby got here.

When I read the title I thought that they had finally come clean about Sunday Rose. In any event, happy news of a new little one!

The only thing that bothers me is that the news barely mention the fact she has two older adopted children with TC. It's like they don't exist.

That article says the baby is Nicole & Keith's "biological daughter" which implies she used her own eggs. (maybe frozen embies from her prior pregnancy?).

Anyway, if you carry a baby, you are the biological mother. Moms who use donor egg or donor embryos are the biological mothers of their children, they're just not the genetic mother. I think what the article means to say is that the baby is their genetic child, ie, it's Nicole's egg.

Why do you think Kelly Preston faked her pregnancy? I saw pics of her..she sure as heck looked pregnant. I think maybe she didn't use her own eggs but you can carry a baby at almost any age just maybe not your eggs. As for Nicole Kidman-does anyone really think she faked her pregnancy? I doubt that. In this day and age it's acepted that some people need surrogates. There would be no reason to lie. She has also adopted in her past so it's not like she hasn't gone down that road.

Uh, everyone else in the world has a different understanding of what "biological child" means.

Apparently, the kids live with TC and they don't have much contact with their mother. I'm sure that was part of the divorce agreement.
