I've tried many Clinique mascaras and haven't had great results. In fact (and it's at a much lower price) Cover Girl Lash Blast is making me very happy. No clumps whatsoever, and very easy to apply. My eyelash curler and Lash Blast make a huge difference.

I like the Covergirl mascaras too - both Volume Exact and Last Blast are great.

Urban Decay - (available at Sephora). It's my new favorite. I tried dozens of products. This one is great. Skyscraper Multi-Benefit Mascara

Maybelline - the old school kind with the pink bottle and green top. There's a reason it has lasted the test of time.

I like Lancome for mascara.

OK--have to totally disagree with this one. Maybelline Great Lash smudges like you wouldn't believe. An hour of wear and I look like a raccoon. For the life of me I can't figure out why people love it so much.

Me neither. I don't think it's great at all. Why it remains a cult favorite is a mystery to me.

I HATE Great Lash mascara. I think Maybelline is brainwashing people. OP, you should try some of these "new school" mascaras: the ones that are supposed to make your lashes grow--Tarte MultiplEYE, Urban Decay Lush Lash; the "tube" mascaras--Blinc Kiss Me, L'oreal Double Extend Beauty Tubes; or the ones with the cool brushes--DiorShow 360", Givenchy Phenomeneyes, Lancome Oscillation. There have been so many advances in mascara lately, no one should still be using the old stuff.

I've also tried many mascaras and CoverGirl Lash Blast is my new favorite. I think b/c the brush is plastic it doesn't clump together on your lashes. I just bought another tube yesterday. Try it!

I totally agree also - was sick of not liking any of the Clinique ones and tried Great Lash for the first time recently - clumpy, smudgy mess. Trying Lash Blast next time I'm at the grocery store!

Because you are supposed to throw out mascara like every 2 months, I refuse to buy expensive mascara (e.g. from a dept store). I have had success with Physician's Formula organic mascara. It is pretty "natural" in comparison to Cover Girl etc. Also like L'Oreal.
