making a DVD of home movies

Anonymous
I am not tech savy, neither is my husband. I really want to make a DVD of our home movies and add some still photos in, but i cannot figure out how to to this on my own on our laptop. Does anyone know a service who would do this for us? TIA!

Your laptop should have a program already built in. If you're using PC, it's called Windows DVD Maker or Windows Movie Maker. You add the files and then you can add a title/credits, music in the background and then burn it onto a DVD.

Thanks, PP. I've managed to find DVD maker, so that's progress, but I'm having trouble finding my video's. I'm going to keep playing around with it. Thanks for the tip!

Just do a search for a files with .MOV or .MOD - at least that's what ours are. And if nothing else - plug in the camera and you'll know where the movies are saved.
