I am also eyeing a Ralph Lauren tote that is very simple/classy, but don't think it would fit a lap top. Coach is too gaudy for me lately.

I use a tote made by Radley London. It fits my laptop, some papers, wallet etc. But will not fit my entire desk - which is good as I get in the habit of carrying too many papers.

I love it and got a lot of comments on it. You can find them at Lord and Taylor (at least that is where I got mine)
