Stomach flu going around?

My 6 yo couldn't keep anything down last night. And we're off: round one of vomiting already this a.m. He also has headache. Anyone else?

It just made the rounds at my son's daycare last week. If it's the same thing, the kids felt much better by evening the same day.

My son had it last week. I had it this week. Only lasts a day or two.

Yes it's quick but it seems to have a long incubation or contagious period -- DS1 got it, 10 days later, DS2 and mom & dad got it, four days later, cousins got it, etc....

My 10YO DD is at home today for the same reason. Threw up around 3 AM, but feels completely fine right now.

3 y.o. DD threw up a couple times and it turned out to be strep. Jut check fo fever and if their throat hurts too. DD's tonsils were also very swollen.

I'm the OP on the "fever and 24 hours" topic. Yup. No vomiting here, but it was definitely going around DD's school. She came home with a fever last night.

You can't catch the same virus again, unless you mean 3 rounds as in 3 people in the family -- sounds as if they were just very unlucky.

Our family has had it for 10 days. First it was my 4 year old and my husband. Then my mother-in-law. I got it five days later and gave it to my one year old( which we had to cancel her first birthday). Now on day 10 my husband is throwing up again. We can't seem to get rid of the germ!!!!

This is what our ped told us! DS (2yo) threw up all night, lethargic but no vomiting during the day, vomited once again next night and then fine.

The ped said it's very contagious and when I checked the CDC website it says people are contagious for a min of 3 days up to 2 weeks - yikes!!!

DS had it on Tuesday, threw up only once but was tired and had a mild fever for about 12 hours, I got it Friday night, DD got it Saturday. I'm still feeling a bit under the weather.

DD,3, had it the quickest: 7 pm, said she was tired and wanted to go to bed. 7:30 we were in my bed reading a few books; 7:45 she closes her eyes, puts her hands near her throat; 7:46 she vomits all over my bed. 7:50 she runs downstairs and plays with her brother. It was amazing.

it is not a 'flu' but I had it and it was horrible. 24 hours of vomitting and other stomach ailments. Yuck.
