public and privite daycare (Laurel, MD)

I am going to work at Georgetown University and my wife is going to work at Jonhs Hopkins University... In this way, we are planning to find a housing at Laurel (Howard County, Maryland) and we will use the train to work.

I am interested in put my daughter public daycare… Do you have any suggestion at Laurel? We have contacted two private daycare… Kiddies Kollege Christian Center and Kiddie Academy Child Care. What your opinion about those private daycare?

I live in the area as well. I have not attended either daycare but visited both. The feedback I received from other parents regarding Kiddie Academy was not encouraging. I have a neighbor whose daughter attended Kiddie Kollege and raved about it. In the end our family chose the Montessori method and went with Julia Brown. We had a great experience there (5 yrs) and my children were very well prepared for the challenging independent school environment that they are now in. The staff has changed somewhat since the 2 years we left, but I believe that they are worth a visit.
