Infertility Support and Discussion
|
Hi:
I am new to the Alexandria area, and I am seeking advice on a good, yet caring OB GYN associated with the Alexandria hospital. I am not pregnant yet, but hope to be soon. I saw Dr. Cheryl Ferrier for my annual exam. She was very good at the exam, but I have two concerns: 1. She is a solo practitioner with a limited schedule, so she might not be the one to deliver my baby. I would like to develop a relationship with my doc and know that that particular doc. will deliver the baby. 2. She is a very down-to-earth person who doesn't mince words. I would enjoy having a person like that as a friend, but for my first pregnancy and birth, I would like someone who is a bit more nurturing - someone who could show support and understanding. I would prefer a female. Many thanks for any suggestions! |
| You should post on the expectant mOms forum since they've actually conceived and had babies. |
| Sorry, I've realized that after I posted it here....Will try to remove....And good luck to all TTC (including me). |
| Hey OP lots of women on the TTC board have conceived and could answer your question. But you may run into some bitter posters on this board with that question...as you've probably already realized. |
Bitter OP of tired thread. You didn't do anything wrong; I was just feeling a bit beaten down by life. Good luck to you as well. |
