Snow day tomorrow?????

You'd think they'd at least call a 1 hour delay this evening and then decide tomorrow morning. It's going to be icy and I can't believe all FCPS will be safe.

It's curious that none of the major local districts have made an announcement about tomorrow.

Fairfax, Arlington, Loudon, Prince William, Montgomery, DC, etc. are all mysteriously silent.

Manassas has a 2 hour delay!

The city of Manassas is similar to the City of Falls Church in that it is very small and has enough resources to take care of it's own roads. The rest of Manassas is Prince William County and that remains to be seen.

Just wondering: with the 2 hour delay, do the FCPS 1/2 day morning Kindergarteners go to school at all? I can't imagine they would, but I am just wondering! (We will have a K student next year)

Immediate PP here...please disregard question about the K morning class. The FCPS website answered my question.

Yes, half day K goes to school with a two hour day. Morning is dismissed one hour later than usual and afternoon starts one hour later than usual. It's similar to a Monday schedule.
