TMI Warning: Bleeding after sex

I had my period about 10 days ago. My period was done but then it started again during/after sex.
Has this happened to someone? I jus thad my annual check-up and OBGYN said I was fine but wondering if I should see a specialist.
Is this something to look forward to after 40

If I'm done for about a day, then have sex, the same thing happens to me...it's been repeated many times over. I'd not worry about it.

You want some TMI? The same thing happened to me last summer and it turns out I had forgotten a tampon. I had inserted another one before taking one out, and it got really smushed up in there, so badly that while my husband thought something was weird during sex, he really didn't know what it was. And the first symptom was brown spotting after sex. I won't tell you the rest because it's nasty.

Do you take prozac by any chance. That happened to me 10 years ago when I was on prozac.

I had to go to the doctor -- it was horrifically embarrassing.

i just had the same thing happen to me. period was done for a few days, then had sex and got blood on my partner. stopped after that.

also have had the left the tampon in and didn't realize it thing. noticed a really bad smell and had a nasty discharge. got it out myself after two weeks but could not believe i did that.

Don't be too embarrased...its very common for us to remove forgotten tampoons. Not a big deal at all.

My ob/gyn has told me this can be caused by cervical polyps. If this is what is going on with you, they can be removed at an office visit without any type of anesthesia or prep.

I am only 26 and this has happened to me a handful of times.. but usually it's the day or so after my period ends...
