Spin off: Concierge medicine with Dr. Currall

This is a spin off of the concierge medicine posts.
A few months ago Dr. Victoria Currall subscribed to a service that maintained all of the patients medical records in one place and offered 24/7 "Mayo" advice to patients. The word concierge was not mentioned but she required a monthly retainer fee. I was told that as soon as her practice was full of subscribed patients, she would no longer take those that did not participate. You would be farmed out to her nurse practitioner.

I personally felt a mild form of betrayal. Her practice has not yet filled up with subscribed patients so I am good. A nurse practitioner, no matter how sweet, is not who I want making some of my more serious concerns. I know she works closely with Dr. Currall, but that is still not good enough for me. I was wondering how other patients of Dr. Currall responded to this? If you are looking for a new dr., where have you gone?
