Third car seat

Anonymous
We have a volov S70 and will be needing a third car seat. My son in in a Britax Maraton (3yrs), daughter is in a Britax booster (5yrs) and I need something narrow in a newborn car seat to put the new baby in. Any ideas?
Thanks!

We will soon have three in the back seat of our car. You can get two sunshine kids radian car seats for your older kids and a graco snugride (the 22 pound limit one) for your infant. Or one of the slimmer (just measure them) infant car seats. The britax seats would not fit in our car with three across unless you have a backless booster seat. Hope that helps!

The Radian is acceptable as a rear facing convertible seat for newborns, rated for 5lbs+. I can't imagine that Britax Booster is very wide but I would definitely consider moving the 3yo to a Radian - they can be used as a 5pt harness and continued use as a Booster up to 85 lbs for the XTSL model. Maybe then the Marathon can be rear facing for the infant unless you want a bucket seat.

Good luck!

Check out the forums on www.car-seat.org I'm sure the car-seat techs there can help you come up with a great solution. We have the Radian forward facing and love it.
