Walter Johnson or Winston Churchill

Which one would you choose? Or are the differences so insignificant that it does not matter? Please share your thoughts on the school culture as I did not see much conversation comparing the two except their scores, which are quite comparable. Thanks.

Both are good but Churchill is a better school.

More details could help us, please! (Reminds me of my kids asking, "who's the best person in the world?" It all depends on your criteria.)

Churchill had the grade fixing scandal last year (kids hacked into the computers and fixed grades) , what ever happened to that, was all over the news.

Both are very good schools. WJ just got new facilities which seem quite nice. Average SAT slightly better at Churchill. Churchill is less diverse while WJ has more diversity. Churchill has less kids on free & reduced lunch (7.7% are now or have received FARMS) whereas WJ has more kids on free & reduced lunch (19.2% are now or have received FARMS). Churchill is probably more "snobby" than WJ.

I think it depends on what you are exactly looking for in a school. I don't think you can really go wrong with either.

It also depends on where you can afford a house and where you want to live.
