Chantilly Highlands: Do you live there or know someone who does? What is it like living there?

Is the neighborhood kid friendly? How bad is the airplane noise there? Please tell me about this neighborhood. We're considering moving there. Thanks!

I don't know the neighborhood exactly, but I live close by in zip code 22033. The airplane noise is significant, meaning, I hear it almost every day, esp. at night. However, within a few days of moving in, I am used to the noise and I can say it doesn't bother me at all. To me, it seems almost comforting, it feels like a far away thunderstorm to me.

To be honest though, I did NOT know there was so much airplane noise before we moved. When we visited the house prior to buying it, I never noticed the planes. It was a bit of an unpleasant surprise to find that every night around 9pm, we get a bit of a rumble throughout the house.
