Disney is happy with the result.
Florida messed up and will be on the hook with tax dollars. |
|
Florida still has to pay its legal fees, but Disney doesn't get to do whatever they want. They now have the same limits as other companies and don't have special privileges anymore. Disney must submit to inspections and get approval for changes now, where before they controlled the district. |
Hmmm. This from small government conservatives. I for one have no problem with Disney being required to undergo inspections. Am surprised that Repugs are cheering on additional regulation of business though. |
| Since Disney does not control the district, does this mean that they are off the hook for liability lawsuits (since the state now inspects them and controls them)? |
Nope. They're still on the hook for liability - and administrative fines/penalties if they fail inspections (and worse, if they lie to the inspectors). Interesting that in another thread people were complaining that Boeing was self-inspecting, but yet in this thread they're complaining that Disney won't get to continue doing so.... |
Are you planning on flying a Disney castle? |
| Wow, Disney really slashed ticket prices. Reality of their politics is now hitting. |
