We aren't trying to conceive right now, and anyways, have reason to think that we'll have some trouble conceiving when we do try. So maybe this is either some wishful thinking or overzealousness, but..
If I've missed pills and made them up, or we've used the "withdrawal" method- and if I wound up getting pregnant- would the daily glass of wine or whatever that I have be problematic? Does anyone know of "accidentally pregnant" situations where the woman did moderate drinking (3-5 drinks per week, though it could be more with holidays)? Obviously, I just need to be more vigilant about BC. |

Eh, as long as you're not pounding drinks every day, you're probably fine. I had 2 beers the night before I tested positive, and I had had a little wine a few nights that week, too.
To be honest, as long as you stop as soon as you find out, it's probably no big deal -- the baby doesn't even implant until like 10 dpo anyway, and alcohol can't affect it then. |
| We were using birth control, so we were surprised to find out I was pregnant. the nightbefore I took the test I had 3 margaritas (not usual for me). Doctor assured me it was fine, and in the first 10 days or so, its cell division and not much else. On the other hand, you should be taking a daily vitamin with folic acid. |
