I'm planning on making lyonnaise potatoes or some sort of homestyle potatoes for a dinner party. I want them to be really crispy and I'm wondering if I can make them ahead of time and put in the oven before I serve. I don't want to be spending too much time in the kitchen while the guests are here, but I'm used to just making potatoes/hash browns on the stovetop right before I serve them.
Does anyone have a good recipe or any tips for making them ahead of time and putting in the oven to crisp them up before I serve? I'm pretty good in the kitchen but my oven terrifies me, as does making things ahead of time. |
