Kid-friendly restaurant for 12/26 in Columbia that is NOT at the mall?

My MIL is holding her bday dinner there and we are supposed to go to the Cheesecake Factory but I worry it will be a zoo all day long...

Any other suggestions not located at the mall?

maybe le madeleine on snowden river pkwy? or other places on that side of town.

There's a Bertucci's and a Carrabbas in Columbia. Just a little south on 29 is a wood fire pizza Italian place. If you are going south, you see it on your right before the exit. I love going there and take my kids. I want to say it's called Il Forno or something like that.
